History:Born January 5, 1610 to Spencer and Elaine Marshall. She was the second child of the family and had a brother named Connor who was two years older than her. Her father was a wealthy lord and her mother was originally a peasant. The two children were taught at home by Elaine, Selena took to reading and loved to acquire new information. She was a very smart young girl. She was considered different and not very normal because she was such a free spirit. She asked a lot of questions and knew most things at the age of 7.

Her family was a very close very wealthy family. Her brother and her were close and her parents rarely had fight. She had a very perfect life. In 1627 Selena turned 17 and was engaged to a handsome young man by the name Taylor Vanderwood.

May 8th, 1628 was the date of her wedding. Her mother went ahead to the church, leaving her alone to walk there herself . It was going to be a harsh walk there, the rain began pour harshly a she left the house. Her dress ad hair was ruin and she eventually got lost on her way. She wondered to far from her house and walked right into the woods.

Selena was beginning to get hypothermia and her body didn't have any more strength to walk on and she collapsed to the ground helplessly


The following morning she was found by a man by the name of Brayden, though he wasn't a man at all, but a vampire. He lived in the town and watched the people, and had grew a liking for Selena . He felt pity for the girl when he found her, and decided to save her, to change her into a vampire.

VAMPIRE LIFE

It took only a few days for Selena to be turned and to recover. It didn't take her long to learn all about being a vampire, she knew exactly what and how to ask the billions of questions needed to learn everything there was to learn about being one of her kind. He was a "Vegetarian" vampire and fed only on animals, and bestowed the reasoning and good nature onto Selena.

She wanted badly to return to her family and Taylor, but she knew it was impossible. Selena knew that if she returned they would be terrified or even she would kill them if she couldn't control herself. Brayden kindly asked if she would like to leave the small village and travel the world, something he learned she always wanted to do. She took up the chance and they left.

1630- 1950 they traveled the world, feeding when needed. They were close, their own little family, but in April of 1950 something happened. Selena found a human that she could not resist a blood lust that overcame her. She fed on the human only to disappoint Brayden to the point where he disowned her.

Furious she continued to travel on her own and began to hunt humans for the sport for two years. She enjoyed it but was not satisfied, in fact she felt horrible for her actions, she left the habit and went back to feeding on only animals, except for once a decade so that her thirst for humans was quenched, and she didn't feed on just any one, she researched them and made sure they were horrible people that no one would miss. Selena continued to travel until she found Forks.

Personality: OVERALL

Selena has a fierce personality, that has a permanent effect on people. She's the kind of person you can love and hate with equal force at the same time. One minute she's your favorite person, funny and charismatic, the next a vicious self absorbed snob. She has horrible mood swings and polar personality traits, but somehow you can never get enough of her. She's infectious, a disease.

TENACIOUS

She is a very stubborn individual, once she has her mind set. If her decision is to do something, she'll go through hell and back to make sure it gets done. Also once she has made up her mind about someone it is impossible to change it, which is why she doesn't judge to quickly, or at least she tries not to.

INTELLECTUAL

She is a very smart individual, both book and street smart. She loves to read and gather up any information she can about every subject she can fit in. She always received high marks in school without even trying. This wit however is not always put to good use. She can use it to be sarcastic and plain mean to people that she deems of lower intelligence. She thinks that because she is so smart she is entitled to be Queen.

NARCISSISTIC

She believes she is the best, and has not one doubt about it. She knows what she has going for her and uses it to her advantage, and her over sized ego. She doesn't show this part of her though as much as she shows her other traits. She knows how annoying a narcissist can be, being one herself she sees it as her only flaw.

HONEST

Honesty is not always the best policy when it comes with being involved with Selena Marshall . She takes honesty to a whole other level by being brutally honest. She tells it like it is, never hides the facts. If there is a piece of spinach in your teeth, she won't be subtle about it. She'll straight out tell you "Not to be rude or anything but you got something green stuck in your teeth" and point it out for you. The only good part about this is her sincerity about it.

IRRATIONAL and PARANOID

She doesn't always see things as they exactly are. Say you look at her, then laugh and turn to your friend and begin talking, she'll automatically assume your talking about her. She also doesn't always think straight about stuff. Like decision making, she doesn't always make the rational choice and if she does, she never comes to it in a rational way.

Appearance: Selena has golden brown hair, naturally wavy and long, ending at the small of her back. Her eyes are hazel, tending to lighten or darken with what she's wearing, and crinkling at the corners when she smiles. Her skin is lightly tanned, and she has a beauty mark above her full lips on the left side. Selena is 5'4 and a bit on the small size, but with a graceful full figured shape. Selena's style revolves more on comfort rather then what's 'in'. She prefers a comfortable pair of jeans with a nice top, but doesn't mind dressing up for special events or when she feels like it.

Roleplay Sample:A woman looking to be about nineteen stood near a window, looking outside at the ground below her. The rain cascaded down the windows blurring the world and distorting it. She turned around and heaved a sigh. The weather lately had begun to depress her and she hadn't been able to get a good hunt in for days.
Selena began to pace in her room, lips pursed and head down as she thought. With a growl, she punched her wall and her fist smashed through the plaster. She began to laugh without emotion. When Selena pulled her fist out, she looked at her knuckles and smirked. 'Not a scratch"she thought to herself.

It was clear that the her temperament was getting the best of her and she was beginning to lose it. Heaving another sigh, she looked back out the window and rose her head to look at the sky. "Why can't this weather stop," she growled. Lightning flashed and her fangs became visible along with her thirsty red eyes. Selena owned a small cabin outside of forks. There was a hidden driveway that was 1 km long before you would reach her house. Forest was the only thing that surrounded the property.

She lept from her bedroom window and landed swiftly on the ground and slightly sniffed the air. the sent of deer was in the air, Selena swong her head to the left and ran of in the direction of the scent.

A deer stood grazing in a meadow, her mind set on eating only. The deer ears flickered in every directing, looking for any sign of enemy. Selena got down in her hunter crouch. She was nearly close enough that she could leap onto the deer's back. She gave a silent sigh and leap the ground she had to cover in order to catch her prey....
